Crystal Darkness to Air in Maricopa and Phoenix Arizona – Crystal Meth Documentary Crystal Darkness to Air On Arizona Television.
PHX11, the city’s news and information station, will participate in a regional simulcast of “Crystal Darkness,” a meth documentary on Tuesday, April 15, along with nearly every network-affiliated and independent Arizona television station in the state. The stations will simultaneously broadcast the in-depth documentary on the dangers of crystal meth from 6:30 – 7 p.m.
The 30-minute gripping documentary will give residents across the state the opportunity to change attitudes and save lives. The story is told through powerful testimonies of young people who have gone through the dark and lonely depths of meth addiction. With heart-wrenching and raw honesty, they speak to their generation with an unforgettable message of warning. The program is targeted for youths and their parents, but the message extends with conviction to an entire community and throughout the nation. The images and stories shared in the documentary are both shocking and scary.

I myself have been addicted to nicotine, marijuana, crack cocaine and pornography. Today I work in a discipleship ministry and testify that Jesus truly does set you free, He is the way the truth and the life.

I live in Phoenix, Arizona and am keenly aware of the airing of Dark Crystal. I have been addicted to crystal meth from the very first time I tried it nearly six years ago. This drug has tricked me into believing that it improves life; improves me. Well the truth is, this drug has brought only pain, hardship, isolation, std’s, mood swings, bankruptcy, eviction, hunger, weight loss, loss of all family contact, loss of friends, violence, theft of some of my most prized personal possessions, fraudulent bank account activity… I could go on and on.
I am a work in progress, doing my best to stay clean and sober. There are many ways for one to get to recovery. For me, opening space in my heart to receive a greater sense of spirit is what keeps me on my path.
