Proposals Being Accepted for Community Development Block Grants

The city of Phoenix Community and Economic Development Department is accepting written proposals from qualified firms to develop the city’s Community Development Block Grant, Economic Development Open Application Program.

The selected firm will develop a program to provide funds to community agencies that foster economic growth in Phoenix’s small business community. The Request For Proposal is open and will close at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21.

A pre-application orientation will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Phoenix City Hall, 200 W. Washington St., 20th floor, main conference room. This meeting will provide interested applicants an opportunity to ask specific questions about the RFP and review samples of successful proposals from the previous year.

For more information or to obtain a copy of the RFP, visit phoenix.gov/rfp or call 602-534-6877.
