Could it be the dreaded gigantic Town Lake great Catfish dragging unsuspecting fishermen and their poles to a watery demise?

Did you know that late at night the dreaded ghost ship Haunted Hayden still sails the roiling waters of Tempe Town Lake, dooming all aboard any craft it encounters?

These and other accounts of the dark, dangerous depths of Town Lake will be chillingly revealed by the crusty old-salty Sailor Randy who grew up overhearing hair-raising chronicles recounted by seasoned mariners and whalers in the seedy saloons along Tempe’s old waterfront „Ÿ long before the great Salt River was tamed by dams, a Lake and modern development.

If you are not predisposed to cowardice or numbing fear, then dare to join Sailor Randy at 7pm Sunday, October 29th aboard the S.S. Night Fright as he relates some of the many disturbing legends about the mysteries of Town Lake „Ÿ the real accounts that they donft want you to know about.
